Three clocks, one fictional refinance

A redemption quotation is valid to day 30. A replacement facility specimen expires on day 75. The owner’s intended completion is day 90. These invented dates are teaching inputs, not statutory periods or actual lender terms. Receipt of both records does not reconcile their validity with the target milestone.

Preserve the mismatch

An evidence register should retain each source, version and date. Record the refresh, extension or reissue questions separately and identify the solicitor, lender or broker who must answer them. Do not assume an extension, calculate a new binding expiry or treat an intended date as an agreed completion.

Ask a more useful question

What remains unresolved, why does it matter and who must determine the next step? The preparation position remains conditional while the relevant answers are missing. This is more useful than a document-completeness percentage, which can conceal the single condition that matters most.

General education using entirely fictional examples. No client outcomes, legal, title, valuation, investment, lending or technical determination is established. Authorised professionals retain their responsibilities. No third-party reliance or engagement is created.
